Schawk is worldwide provider of brand development and brand deployment services. They challenged the design team to create an updated corporate headquarters worthy of their global reach with collaborative client interface and work areas, print space and testing areas. The design needed to encourage a much-needed change in their office culture – more collaboration, natural light and a better overall flow - while allowing Schawk to maintain legacy aspects of their pre-renovation work-life and culture. An open and flexible floor plan, a variety of integrated flexible meeting areas and abundant solar-controlled natural lighting in an exposed structure environment are among the efforts that transformed this dingy, rabbit-warren of an out-dated facility into a professional yet hip showplace – and neighborhood reinvestment - for this international branding and marketing company.
